God wants you to be separated from the rest of the world to be His people.
  1. When God selected Abraham He wanted Abraham to leave his country, his people and his father's household who were under idol worship and follow God’s directives. Genesis 12:1-7
  2. When God delivered Israelites from Egypt He wanted them to leave Egypt and it’s sinful ways and worship Him separated from the rest.   3. He wants each person to be separated from the rest of the people to be part of His people. It is not separation of a household, a community or a country at a time it is a person at a time. Mark 16:15-16, Matthew 10:34-37
  4. God wants His people to exercise a healthy separation from the rest of the world. Marriage with the rest of the world can bring the pressures of the world to your life through them. Deuteronomy 7:3-4, 1 Kings 11:1-11, Nehemiah 10:30, Nehemiah 13:26-27
