If a church gives more importance to the traditions than the word of God finally they end up in teaching commandments of men than that of God. So find another one. See
If a church do not practice water baptism by immersion in water it is not according to the word of God and you are at risk with respect to your salvation. So find another one.
If a church practices baptism of babies, since the baby cannot be born again at that age you are at risk in reference to your salvation. So find another one.
If in a church blessing is received primarily through prayers to anything or anyone other than God, this is not as per the word of God and you are at risk of worshiping other gods. So find another one.
If a church do not teach you that Jesus is Christ, Son of God and Messiah, you are at great risk of not receiving salvation, which is through Messiah. So find another one.
If your church still has priests and sacrifices done regularly it is not as per the word of God. Since priesthood and sacrifices ended with the perfect sacrifice done by Jesus at Calvary and since Jesus took over as the High priest it is better find another church.
You cannot change all the people in your community. They are heavily pre occupied with their self-interests. Only you can change when you are convinced with the truth from the word of God and join the right group, which will be ultimately called His Bride, His Church, His people etc.
